A Pioneer of Cradle to Cradle
The Venlo City Hall in the Netherlands is one of the leading projects applying Cradle to Cradle (C2C) design principles to the highest level.
The building was designed to maximize environmental sustainability and optimize natural resource use.
Accordingly, Accoya wood—known for its innovation, sustainability, and recyclability—was chosen as a material for the project. Accoya was used in the building’s decking, cladding, windows, and doors.
